Requests to amend a breed standard may only be made by the Secretary of a breed club or council.
The following information must be provided below:
- Detail of the proposed new wording
- A commentary as to why changes to each clause are felt to be necessary
- Documentary evidence that the proposed changes have been passed by the membership of the society(s)/Council in a General Meeting, prior notice of the proposed changes having been circulated to all members. All registered societies within a breed should have approved the proposed changes
