International Dog Health Workshop

From the 30th May to the 1st June, the Kennel Club will be hosting the 4th International Dog Health Workshop on behalf of the International Partnership For Dogs (IPFD) in Windsor. Subjects will include; exaggerations and extremes in conformation, genetic testing, breed specific health stratergies, supply and demand, what defines a breed and how it influences health and welfare. Health Testing Clinics

Health Testing Clinics offer health screening or DNA testing at an event organised by breed clubs and veterinary associations. To submit any information regarding an upcoming health testing clinic, please contact Hannah James (health@thekennelclub.org.uk).

Breed Health Surveys which are designed to give a strong representation of the health and temperament of a particular breed. These surveys provide significant data that can be used, if required, by researchers focusing on canine health issues.
