More than 2,500 responses so far to Kennel Club JCF survey: One week left to have your say

More than 2,500 responses to the Kennel Club’s survey on the Judges Competency Framework (JCF) have been registered since it was launched a week ago, the Kennel Club has revealed with one week left before the survey closes.

The survey represents the second phase of the Kennel Club’s consultation on the JCF which, together with the work of the JCF review panel, will inform the Board’s decisions on the future education and training of dog show judges.

Kathryn Mansfield, Kennel Club Secretary, said: “We take this opportunity to thank the more than 2,500 people who have kindly answered the survey so far and would like to urge anyone who has not yet responded to do so before next week’s deadline, so that as wide a spectrum of exhibitors and judges as possible can participate in this important research.”

The survey can be answered both online and by mail. In the case of some questions, ‘free text’ boxes are provided so that respondents can expand upon their answers and/or provide clarity.

Exhibitors and judges will also have the opportunity to give their answers at South Wales championship show as well as Hitchin and Rugby open shows this weekend, October 12 - 13.
