More than 200 dogs competing in Imported Register classes at Crufts

The Kennel Club has announced the entry figures for the Imported Breeds Register classes at Crufts 2023. The judge will be Patsy Hollings, breeder of the highly-successful Gunalt Weimaraners, with an overall entry in these classes of 232 dogs.

Basset Bleu de Gascogne – 17
Black and Tan Coonhound – 29

The dog declared Best AV Imported Breeds Register has been eligible since 2018 to compete in its relevant group competition at shows including Crufts, following a change to Kennel Club regulations.

Tom Mather, Crufts Chairman, said: “We look forward once again to welcoming the Imported Register breeds to Crufts and to seeing the various category winners from each day competing in the group finals in the main arena each evening, where they help to add to the overall spectacle.”
