Kennel Club announces Agility Team GB 2023

The Kennel Club has announced the agility teams which will represent Great Britain at the European Open Agility Championships in Denmark from 20 - 23 July, and the FCI Agility World Championships in Czech Republic from 4 - 8 October.

The successful handlers and dogs were chosen following two try-out events, which concluded at Agility Team GB sponsor, Dog Sports Derby, on 26 March.

The Kennel Club congratulates all the handlers who have been selected to represent Agility Team GB this year. In addition to being sponsored by The Kennel Club and Dog Sports Derby, the team is also kindly supported by Natural Instinct and Galican.

This year there were opportunities for win-on places for both the European Open Championship team, and the Agility World Championship team in both individual and team competitions. Those winning the coveted spots were:

Greg Derrett, Agility Team GB Manager, said “As a management team we believe we have some really strong medal contenders in this year’s European Open and World Championship teams. We are looking forward to working with both previous and new team members in 2023.
