Ten finalists chosen for Crufts 2024 Junior Warrant Final

The Kennel Club Junior Warrant Winner of the Year competition semi-finals returned this weekend, at The Kennel Club Building, Stoneleigh, Warwickshire. 62 top young dogs competed for just ten places in the final, which will be held at Crufts 2024.

The Kennel Club Junior Warrant Winner of the Year semi-finals were judged by Stuart Payne and Robert Dunlop.

The ten finalists competing at Crufts 2024 will be:

  • Bearded Collie, Farmarens Like A Circus For Kiltondale JW, owned by Mr G and Mrs L Peirson, bred by Charlotte Sanburg and Ulrica Olsson
  • Bullmastiff, Emsuart Rocketman JW, owned and bred by Liz Beal
  • Dachshund (Miniature Smooth-Haired), Beachdaz Queen Of Hearts JW, owned and bred by Leah Michaela, Liam John and Anthony Bryan Beach
  • Great Dane, Tamzane Empower Mint JW, owned and bred by Tamasin and Lorraine Pocock
  • Irish Wolfhound, Ch Gaelmarque Treasured By Goldswift JW, owned by Clive and Caroline Sheppard, bred by Marie Severn-Kumar
  • King Charles Spaniel, Ch Baldragon Centre Stage With Khatibi JW, owned by Leila Tarabad and John Whitman, bred by Caroline Bowles-Robinson
  • Lhasa Apso, Crystal Eye’s Wam Bam Boom At Khumbila JW, owned by Ruth Revilla Rodriguez, bred by Charlotte Wandborg
  • Newfoundland, Saskinbears True Blue For Safeharbour JW, owned by Karen Thompson, bred by Jane King
  • Miniature Schnauzer, Ch Penbro Talk Of The Town JW, owned and bred by Beccie Woods, co-owned with Laureen Woods
  • Spaniel (American Cocker), Sh Ch Afterglow Bamalam With Alibama JW, owned by Darren Jennings, bred by Michael Gadsby and Jason Lynn

The judge of the Junior Warrant final at Crufts 2024 will be Jacqueline Ward.

The Junior Warrant is an award for pedigree dogs from the ages of six to 18 months which have won a series of first prizes at both open and championship shows. Achieving a Junior Warrant is one of the highest levels of success for young pedigree dogs.

The Kennel Club Junior Warrant Winner of the Year competition is held annually and is for dogs which have gained the title of Junior Warrant during the previous year.  The final will be just one of the many activities taking place at Crufts from 7 - 10 March 2024 at the NEC, Birmingham.
