Following ongoing plans for the redevelopment of the site at Newbold Comyn to provide a range of activities, The Kennel Club has welcomed the opportunity to work with Warwick District Council to ensure the site remains a safe and enjoyable space for all users.
The outlined proposals would see a section of the former golf course at Newbold Comyn in Leamington be redeveloped, with the introduction of cycle trails, aimed at local families and communities in the district.
Dr Ed Hayes, Head of Public Affairs at The Kennel Club, commented: “The discussions surrounding the proposed developments at Newbold Comyn have been of great importance to local dog walkers for some time. As such we are pleased to be consulting with Warwick District Council to provide guidance towards implementing a space that is safe, dog-friendly and can continue to be accessible to all those who currently use it.”
Further information regarding the Newbold Comyn proposals can be found on the Warwick District Council website.
There is further advice for dog owners concerned about access issues on The Kennel Club website.
