The Kennel Club would like to apologise for the delay customers are still facing in receiving their award certificates. However, we would like to reassure our customers that we are now in the process of testing the delivery of certificates and, once this has been completed, we will be in a position to start inputting all outstanding results for their delivery.
Implementation of certificates will begin with awards achieved in March 2021 and will continue in chronological order. The digital team have developed a table on which customers will be able to refer to the progress of their certificates and access details. This will cover which show month the team have started working on and when the work has finished. It will also provide details on when you should communicate back to us if you haven’t received your certificate. Further information will be communicated when ready.
Said Kathryn Mansfield, Kennel Club Secretary: “We appreciate the frustrations customers have faced with not receiving their awards. Although we have ensured that it is acceptable to enter events or classes where eligibility is dependent upon awards and/or titles which are pending confirmation, we appreciate that this has not been ideal.
“We will start working on processing the awards as soon as we can. Staff have been working hard and we have allocated a dedicated team who will be working extended hours to process these awards. There were over 1,400 events across all activities over the last year. We hope that by publishing a tracking table on our site, customers will be able to see when to expect award certificates.”
An announcement will be made as soon as work starts on the data inputting, but in the meantime we ask that customers check that their contact details on their Kennel Club accounts are up to date.
