The Kennel Club are inviting nominations for The Kennel Club Accredited Instructors scheme 2021 award which will take place at Crufts 2022
The Kennel Club has today (12 January) opened nominations for its Kennel Club Accredited Instructor of the Year Award, which will celebrate the achievements of those who have gained Kennel Club accreditation.
The award aims to recognise the outstanding talents of instructors who have shown enormous commitment in making a difference for dogs and their owners. Judges will be looking for nominees who have gone that extra mile to help owners make a positive difference to the behaviour of dogs, and dog owners are asked to nominate instructors who:
- Found new and innovative ways of working, during and after lockdown, to provide support and training to dog owners, particularly when face-to-face dog training classes were no longer possible due to the pandemic
- Made a positive difference to the behaviour of dog(s) and the lives of their owners
- Helped to change the lives of dogs and/or people who may have faced difficult challenges
- Went out of their way to help the dog(s) and their owner(s)
The winner will be selected from a panel of judges, with representatives from The Kennel Club and City of Guilds, and invited to the awards ceremony which will take place at Crufts 2022.
Nominations can be submitted by visiting The Kennel Club website and the closing date for entries is Monday 31 January 2022. Please note that nominations will only be accepted for accredited members.
