Further information
Please note that these Regulations should be read carefully.
1. Cost
a. £175.00 (incVAT).This includes the stand together with the name board , the hire of two chairs, up to a maximum of 6 admission wristbands for Club members and a car park label for ONE vehicle in the NEC inner area.
2. Sitting
a. Stands will normally be placed as near to the relevant rings as possible.
b. On arrival at the Show, should there be any complaints or queries regarding the stand position, the Crufts Organisers should be contacted via the offices in Halls 3a. Once stands are positioned by the Organisers they must not be moved.
3. Stand space
a. The space allocated is sufficient only for the stand and the two chairs provided. Stands must not, therefore, overspill this area and no boxes, cartons, packages or litter of any sort may be discharged into the gangways. Any obstructions will be immediately removed and disposed of. The use of clothes rails is also strictly prohibited.
b. Further, the adornment of stands will be permitted within the parameters of the space allocated provided it does not interfere with the fascia containing the name of the breed club and the basic structure of the stand. It must not be enlarged in any way as this will contravene the NEC safety and Security Regulations. The use of screens behind the stand will be considered on application to the organiser in advance complete with a detached sketch.
c. For safety reasons, nothing must be attached or hung from the structure which may cause the stand to come under stress. The Crufts floor management team will be inspecting each stand regularly to check this is adhered to.
d. Nothing may be affixed to the walls of the NEC as a dilapidation fee will be charged to Crufts. This fee, which can be quite substantial, will subsequently be recharged to the offending Club.
4. Chairs
a. Two chairs will be provided for each Breed Club stand and will be delivered by a Crufts contractor.
b. The Committee consider that the two chairs allocated fit adequately into the space provided. More will intrude into the public gangways.
c. In the past some Breed Club stands have taken the judge’s table and chairs from the adjacent ring and in future this will be viewed as a serious violation of the Regulations.
5. Entry and setting up arrangements
a. All Breed Club stands should be set up between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.
b. Entry has been arranged through entrance 4.1 and the NEC traffic personnel will direct vehicles accordingly. Any vehicle not displaying the appropriate car park label will not be allowed in the inner area and will be sent to another car park.
c. No large trolleys are permitted in the Halls, therefore, all goods should be carried to the stand. However, in view of the fact that some stands will be sited a considerable distance from the entrance in Hall 4, a LIGHT luggage trolley will be permitted.
d. The Show opens to the public at 8.15 a.m. and all stands must be operational by this time.
6. Exit arrangements
a. Breed Club stand holders may leave after 4 p.m. However, goods will have to be carried out to vehicles as people and dogs will still be present in the Halls.
7. Selling
a. No Breed Club shall sell items in direct competition to trade stands, i.e. leads, collars, shampoo, dog food as this practice is the cause of constant complaint. Second hand clothing and bric-a-brac are also forbidden.
b. All items on display and/or for sale must be of direct relevance to the particular breed such as sweatshirts, T-shirts, books, calendars, etc with the breed name incorporated. Any unrelated item will be removed from sale at the show.
c. All monies raised should be for the sole use of Breed Clubs and/or breed rescue and not individuals.
